I’m a people lover, a Jesus follower, and a beauty creator. I believe in love and friendship and family. I’ve been married to my husband Tory for 10 years, and we have five beautiful children who light up our life.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to creating beautiful things. I also absolutely love being around people. I get such joy from meeting new faces and getting to know people in depth. I have a knack for seeing the beauty in the people I meet, and the best part about my job is getting to spotlight that beauty for the world to see.
The Bucket List
I haven’t always been in the beauty industry. In 2012, I was working at a corporate job that I didn’t love, while also raising my young children and struggling to find balance with it all. That year, I got into a serious accident while pregnant with my son. Thankfully we were both okay, but I was left with some facial scarring. In the aftermath of the accident, I began teaching myself to use makeup to cover the scars in a natural-looking way. I fell in love with the artistry of beautification, and I discovered I have an eye for creating soft, classic looks with my brushes that bring out the natural beauty inherent in every woman.
I’m now a professional makeup artist and licensed hairstylist specializing in beauty for events, weddings and photoshoots. My work has been featured on the Return of the Curls Fashion Show and the Vow Bridal Expo. I also work closely with Yours Truly Portraiture, providing custom hair and makeup looks for boudoir clients. Whatever I am doing, I am committed to using my artistry to help my clients feel beautiful and confident in their skin. I care deeply about my clients, and many of them have become my dear friends over the years. I view what I do not as simply doing hair and makeup, but as empowering my clients to see the best in themselves and to feel beautiful in their skin.
